2. What data we collect
When you contact us
If you use the contact form or email us, we receive the details you provide: name, company, email, phone number, annual revenue range, package of interest and the content of your message. The form does not store any data on this website. It opens your email app and the message is sent by you to our email address.
Website statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure overall traffic (e.g. number of visits, pages viewed, country, device type and referring website). This service does not use cookies, does not build profiles and does not track individual visitors. The data is aggregated.
Hosting data
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web server, the hosting provider may temporarily log technical data such as your IP address for security and reliable operation.
3. Purpose and legal basis
- Responding to your enquiry and preparing a proposal: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Website statistics and security: our legitimate interest in improving and protecting the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing. We use the following providers, who process data on our behalf:
- Zoho Corporation: email hosting (European Union data centre).
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website statistics.
- GitHub, Inc.: website hosting.
Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (e.g. to the United States), the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep data
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 12 months at the latest. If we work together, data is kept for the duration of the engagement and afterwards for as long as required by law (e.g. tax obligations).
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@controlpointfinance.com. We will respond within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of Cyprus (www.dataprotection.gov.cy).
7. Cookies
This website does not use cookies and does not store any information on your device. Fonts are hosted on our own server, so no data is passed to third parties when the page loads. This is why no cookie consent banner is shown.
